It has been a while since we posted a really good in-car video of someone just flat getting it done with a manual transmission at the digs. This is a 62-year old dude named Kurt who has himself one nasty Camaro. The car runs deep into the 5.70s in the eighth mile, which translates in the 8.90s on a quarter mile track. It has a rip-roaring small block in it that RPMs like few motors we have ever heard. This thing goes from on the 2-step to full death ray kill mode in NO TIME.

The driver makes short work of his row through the gears and we imagine this car has some crazed, tractor-like gear ratio packed in the rear end. It was definitely singing a good tune at the top end of the 660′ course, so we’re very sure it is set up as an eighth-miler for primary competition. Inside the car is very basic with what looks to be just a few gauges to keep tabs on vital signs and a shined up Hurst stick coming through the floor with a classic white ball on top. The driver gets himself psyched up for the run and makes it look too easy heading down the track. The small block makes some hella awesome noise as this car makes tracks for the finish line.

The best part? According to the comments, the car went 5.713 on a 5.71 dial and Kurt had a .006 light! Boom goes the dynamite!
