Dear DHRA riders,

As you know there have been a lot of changes last couple of months concerning dragracing at Drachten. Unfortunately it has appeared that the participating parties cannot cooperate any longer because of the non-beneficial nature behind it. Hence why this cooperation ended.
After the events of the last months the conclusion is that it’s no longer financially supportable to run weekend events due to all the rules and regulations our organization has to abide by and the costs that come with those.

We as the DHRA have decided to go back to our old way of streetlegal dragracing. Both our organization and the riders only want one thing; make lots of runs.

We will be changing the setup of the weekend event of the 25th till the 27th of August.
Your feedback informed us our entry fee was a little high to the compared runs that can be made by a driver.
DHRA wants to go back to a more affordable event for both public as well as streetlegal riders. This concept will be finalized in 2018 in about 3 to 4 events.
The new event of DHRA Old Skool Streetlegal Dragracing become as follows:
– Only on saturday 26th of august you can drive from 10:00 till 22:00
– The gate opens at 8:00 for drivers.
– The gate for public will open at 9:00.
– There will be no power supply, toilet building or showers for teams and crews.
– There will be dixie’s and catering available on the grounds.
– There will be no camping for teams or crews
– We will not prepare the track.
– There will be safety rail
– There will only be streetlegal classes. Pro teams are welcome but can only drive in consultation with the DHRA organization (for more info please send an email to webmaster@dhra.nl .
– There is a maximum of 150 driver tickets.
– The entry price for riders in pre-registration is €70,-
– The entry price for drivers at the gate is €100,-
– The entry price for public is €10,- for adults, children till 12 get in free, entry price for children between age 12 to 18 is €5,-
– If it is within our power we will have entertainment for the children on the grounds.

Because we can cut costs on organizing the event we’re able to keep entree costs more affordable.
Just like the riders, we the DHRA want to be able to make as much runs as we can for as little costs possible.

To make this all possible we need your support and ask the following of you:

– Re-enter yourself for the DHRA Old Skool Streetlegal Dragracing event at www.dhra.nl
-The advantage of signing up again will make the paperwork quicker at the gate, as the papers will be ready at the event and decrease waiting time, making us able to start the event quicker.
-Buy your tickets in the ticket shop (add link here), a week before the event we will check if the ticket sales can cover the event, if this is not the case the money you spent on the ticket will be deposited back to you.
– Your entry will only be valid, if you have a valid ticket and a pre-registration on our website www.dhra.nl. Be sure to pay attention to this due to the limited amount of drivertickets available.
